In less than a month I will be travelling to Berlin for 11 days with my boyfriend, I cant wait!:)
While looking forward to sightseeing & partying in Germany, Im also remembering last year's holiday, which was so much fun! Let's have a look at my friends' and mine goth invasion to London xD
Sightseeing: There's so much to see in London, there is the Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral, Traffalgar Square, and I could go on and on..other stuff I would recommend visiting is for example London's Dungeon. That was so much fun..it's not just another horror house, visit it and you will see ;) We had lots of fun there and felt like small kids again xD we also liked the souvenir shop next to the Dungeon, they have some funny and cute stuff..even the toilets in Dungeon are stylish! :D Then there's of course the Maddam Tussaud's museum. We picked another museum to visit randomly, since there's so much of them..The Horrocks museum of fashion sounded nice, but in the end turned out abit boring..we thought it would show clothing of all history periods, or at least some of them, but this one concentrated only on the clothing of the 60's..which was fun for the first 15 minutes, but then became a bit monotonous. Anyway, it seems like you can see some interesting buildings and sights wherever you go in London, even the Victoria metro station in the city centre is a wonderful place to be at..London breaths with history and beautiful architecture.

Shopping: Camden Town in London is one of my favourite places for shopping. Thats where we did shopping for clothes and shoes with my goth family, we didn't have enough time to explore other areas in London as for shopping, but Im sure you would find nice shops also elsewhere. In Camden Town you have some great shops and markets all close to each other. My three most favourite shops in Camden are: Cyberdog, Burleska and Gothic Lolita & Punk, but it's difficult to choose my favourites, because there were lots of good shops, to name a few that I loved: The Black Rose, Darkside, Criminal Damage, Sai Sai, Chaos, Collectif, Dark Angel.

Clubbing: My most favourite club in London is Slimelight. Great music, both traditional goth and industrial & electro, pretty interior, nice people, not expensive as for entry and drinks..simply a perfect club! We also liked Electric Ballroom, mainly because of the music, eventhough the security guys there weren't nice at all. I guess we would have liked Antichrist even more, but we haven't been there. Next time Im in London I need to go there. Other than this we havent been clubbing much, we were once in The Purple Turtle (which looks really nice, btw) and in Hobgoblin (formerly called Devonshire Arms). We didnt like Hobgoblin at all, it has become a metal pub now. It's a pity that the pubs and club, if they are open, close at midnight during the week, at least at the weekends there are some nice clubs where you can stay all night, like Slimelight and Antichrist.
